Circus Star - The Circus with a Purpose

Circus Starr is a touring circus boasting world-class, professional artists from across the globe. It was first founded in 1987 and provides free seats for thousands of disadvantaged, disabled or vulnerable children, whilst helping to raise much needed funds for local charities.

Circus Starr is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to support local businesses and local children’s charities through a 75 venue tour hosted three times a year. A Social Enterprise with children at its heart, Circus Starr operates a unique Donated Ticket Programme that allows thousands of children to attend free shows thanks to the generous support of local businesses who, in turn, enjoy the opportunity to ‘give back’ to their communities.  We help:

Local Businesses – Giving local businesses the opportunity to ‘give something back’ and support their communities by buying and donating tickets for disadvantaged children and families in their area.
Local Charities – We have worked with over 70 charities that have benefited from more than £900,000 of additional funds raised by Circus Starr over the past 12 years. 
Community Groups – We work with children’s hospices and hospitals, Young Carers, Foster homes, SEN schools, Women’s Refuges as well as a range of charities supporting vulnerable children.
